Around 1980, the Celony’s Atelier
In 1953, Jo and Jean Amado decided to move to a larger workshop in Celony, a few kilometers from Aix-en-Provence, on a 3000 m2 plot of land, which was better suited to the increasing number of orders they received. The workshop, which is still in operation today, can still be visited (appointement here).
With a 150 m2 surface area, it had two large ovens, which have since disappeared.
About 1950, Fernandez, Jean and Jo Amado, Aix-en-Provence’s Bastide
Still in use today, it is used to display, maintain and repair the sculptures and prepare them for outdoor exhibitions.
